¿How do we deal with our identity, with our collective memories and with our humble intimacy?
Who know everything?
Who sees everything?
Who says what are the sins and the virtues?
In whom we should believe?
Why do we have to be good?
All this type of questions today are managed by new entities, a new religion have been born.
We are certain it has not been imposed. We adore it. We make gifts and donations to it, and we defence it with blind faith… in the name of progress, in the name of freedom and well-being.
A religion, of bytes and electrons, of telecommunication towers in the altars of the cities, of little rosary of colourful interactive buttons that we keep in our pockets, of prayers and advices coded by algorithms that guide us through a fantastic dream; the mystical experience that is capable to absorb any criticism and the common sense by means of icons and buttons.
Those heroes that have made it to shake the system from the inside, have been prosecuted by the big governments. Heretics are punished and exposed to the public through the mass media and the social networks.
Is it us, the devotees, the ones that believe in this system and be swallowed by this new faith. We play the game of being critical using their tools, we enjoy the illusion of freedom and many, many gigabytes.
Welcome to all, welcome to this sweet and sour reality, augmented and quantified reality!

¿Com gestionem la nostra identitat, la memòria col·lectiva i la nostra humil intimitat?
Qui ho sap tot?
Qui ho veu tot?
Qui decideix quins són els pecats i quines les virtuts?
En qui hem de tenir fe?
Perquè ens hem de portar bé?
Aquest seguit de preguntes avui son gestionades per noves entitats, ha nascut una nova religió.
Creiem que no ens l’han imposada. L’adorem. Li fem ofrenes i donacions i la defensem amb fe cega, en nom del progrés, la llibertat i el benestar.
Una religió, de bits i electrons, de torres de telecomunicacions en els altars de les ciutats, de petits rosaris de botons interactius que ens posem a la butxaca, de consells i oracions codificades per algoritmes, que ens guia per un somni fantàstic; l’experiència mística que aconsegueix absorbir la crítica i el sentit comú a cop d’icones, i convertir-les en anècdotes del seu panteó.
Els pocs herois que han aconseguit remoure el sistema per dins, han sigut perseguits pels grans governs. Els heretges, són castigats i exposats al debat public dels mass media i les xarxes socials.
I és que som nosaltres, els devots, els qui volem creure en aquest sistema i ser devorats per aquesta nova fe. Juguem a ser crítics fent servir les seves eines, gaudim de la il·lusió de llibertat i de molts, molts gigues.
Benvinguts, doncs, a la dolça realitat augmentada, assistida i quantificada.
